My article(s) disappeared. What happened to them?
This could have happened for one of several reasons:

  1. The content was unacceptable;
  2. We have not approved the article yet;
  3. The article did not conform to our guidelines;
  4. The article caused a copyright dispute;
  5. Editor/Owner privilege;
  6. Database problems;
  7. The article expiry date has been met.
It is important that you read our Author Guidelines to ensure your articles will be approved.

What are common mistakes authors make that might get my article rejected?
Making your article TITLE in all capital letters Making your article sound like an advertisement. Improper formatting, including hard line breaks, improper grammar, improper punctuation and spelling errors.

How do I edit my articles?
To edit your articles, login in to your account and choose the article you want to edit. Click on the 'Edit' link and make your changes. Please note that changed articles must be approved again before going live on our site.

My article looks funny in the edit article area.
This could be due to the fact that your article was submitted when we allowed HTML formatting. You can easily prevent this by copying and pasting from a TEXT editor.

Can I submit my article twice if it fits in two categories?
Definitely NOT. Duplicate article submissions will be deleted.

How long does it take to get my articles approved?
Articles are normally approved within 24-48 hours of submission during normal business days. If your article has not been approved within 48 hours, please check it for possible problems, correct them and then contact us and request approval.

How long do my articles stay on the home page?
Articles remain on the home page until new articles are submitted. Each time a new article is approved, it is listed at the top of the "New Articles" area. Older articles will rotate downward and eventually drop off the list.

What kind of exposure will my articles get at Article-Host?
We provide content feeds in the form of RSS Feeds, Javascript Feeds, PHP/iFrame Feeds and Email Alerts. Although we can not guarantee your article will be read a certain number of times, you can rest assured that they are widely distributed through our content feeds.

How do I become an Expert Author?
Expert authors have submitted a minimum of 10 approved articles. It is completely automated by our software. Once your 10th article is approved, you will receive an email letting you know you have been promoted to "Expert" status.
