There is only 1 reason to want poker players to think you are a beginner and it is to take their money. Here are some ways to make them believe you are in a casino poker room for the very first time.

The poker rooms host or hostess will walk you to your poker table. The people at the table will be expecting a new player and will be looking to see who they will bring over, so make sure from the moment you walk into the casinos poker room you have your gambling face on. The bluffing in poker does not start at the table it starts the minute you enter the room. They will be looking to size you up, so make sure you throw them off from the get go, this way all assumptions they make based on that first impression will be wrong. Look around the room in amazement; maybe even stumble a bit because you were looking around and not where you were going.

During the game make a face when you have a bad hand, but do it just for a minute then make sure to look around the table nervously to see if anyone noticed, but do not make eye contact with them make it seem like you did not notice them. When you have a bad hand you could keep raising and chances are they will fold, but you must have good hands on the first two times you try this. If your hand is not that good someone may try to challenge you. I do not recommend trying this unless you have a full house or better.

When you first sit down at the poker table you should just play bad. Stay in the hand with just a high card. Raise the bet when you only have a pair or are hoping that you will get a good hand after all the cards are turned over. This is a great way to make people think you are a first time or inexperienced player.

They way you dress can tell people how good a player you are. If you go into the casinos poker room and sit at a texas holdem poker table dressed like someone who is a professional player at the cheapest table in the house, with all the sponsors on your shirt, a hat pulled low over your eyes an a dark pair of sunglasses, everyone would not only assume you have never been in a real poker room before, but they will think you a fool and laugh at you. They will not suspect you to be a hustler, but make sure to play badly at first. If you dress like that and you start winning right off people will think you to be a professional player.

Let's try to keep it in mind that even though we want to appear stupid you have to be smart to pull this off. If all you o is play dumb you will loose all your money, and if you keep wining everyone will know you are not just getting lucky.
